Tweed will perform tonight at Muddy Waters on 4314 Live Oak three sets from 9:00-1:00 as a five piece with new member, 20 year old keyboardist Reid Newman. He adds a great deal to the overall sound, so come check it out!. No cover and cheap drinks as well. Tweed EQ would like to welcome 20 year old Spencer Adamson to the Tweed family! Spencer is only 20 years old and is attending Univerisity of North Texas for a degree in Classical piano. Our first shows with him will be Friday, August 6th at Muddy Waters on Live Oak, Saturday the 7th at Rick Fairless's Strokers Ice House, and Sunday the 8th at Lakewood Bar and Grill. Look for tunes from our sophmore full length, Second Tour to comprise a large section of our sets, which is set to be released in October and will include keyboards, pianos, and what I feel to be a much wider and more diversified sound.

The event is hosted in Deep Ellum this year at five clubs, from 7:00 to 2:00. Only 10 bucks for a wristband, so pick one up and tell ur buds. Many, many great acts; visit the Observer online to pick one up. We're also playing at Muddy Waters on 4314 Live Oak Friday the 16th from 9:00-1:00 and Strokers Ice House, 9324 Harry Hines, on Sunday the 18th from 2:00-6:00. No cover either venue and drink specials. We're also working hard on finishing up our sophmore LP, Second Tour, which should be done by September or October at the latest.
